I got a call I might never forget with a challenge that I knew would test me. “I want to surprise my wife and have you decorate for fall. We will be gone for 3 days, are you up for it?” Me, “Yes” … the rest is a blur! The challenge I had only stepped foot in their space one time for a party several months prior and didn’t have the luxury of walking the space prior to shopping. Oh and let’s just say it is a 10,000 square foot gorgeous custom home! Needless to say, this had to be several things epic, timeless, and absolutely capture the heart of this blessed wife to receive such a thoughtful gift from her husband! I had 7 spaces to transform in a 3 day period! I fell in love with fall all over again capturing a fun, whimsical interpretation of the changing of seasons into these vibrant beautiful colors. The ultimate compliment is the phone call I received from the wife on day 4 as she moved back and forth from room to room admiring ALL of the very intricate details of the design. Then came the sweetest of words even weeks later, “everyday it (fall decor design) brings me so much joy!” I remember leaving after many long nights there with the windows down blaring “Getaway Car” by Taylor Swift! What an honor to be able to share a piece of my heart in this design!
